Children of the lesser God

Why are some children less privilege than the others, why do they have to work, earn to live when they should be playing? What more can we do other than give them alms, foods for now? With all that we can help, do for them, is the situation in India improving? Will there be a day when poverty is gone, every children gets foods each and every day?
